If you are visiting on the weekend and the beaches are too packed, or if you just don't feel like spending money on parking and beach fees drive to the John Chafee Nature Trail just down the road from the bungalow. Hike straight down the path and arrive at a rocky little beach with views of Jamestown and no crowds.
