A 25 minute walk from the house, you can spend all day learning about Portsmouth’s role in naval history. The tours are very informative and the passes for each attraction are valid for a year if you wish to visit again.

Fun winter activity, they are well stocked with a vast range of games. I wouldn’t recommend the food but the bar is well stocked. The staff are very helpful and can explain the rules to you. Best to book if going as a group. You can also go as an individual and join in with others.

A 5 minute walk from the house, this restored Edwardian theatre shows a great variety of drama, comedy and music throughout the year. Shows are not as frequent as the London theatres, but there is something on most weekends.
