A visit to the castle is a must. It was voted the most romantic castle in Wales by the Countryfile magazine; Set 300 foot above the River Cennen this dramatic 13th Century ruin commands stunning views.
There is a café on site, an entrance fee is charged for a visit to the castle.
It is also an opportunity to visit Llandeilo; a delightful little town.
In addition there are lovely walks around the area.

The National Trust property "Newton House" is well worth visiting. Also the substantial ruins of Dinefwr Castle in the grounds afford wonderful views of the Towy Valley. The walk from the house to the castle is a gentle undulating route and well worth the time. The property is located on the outskirts of the delightful town of Llandeilo - well worth a visit and only 20 minutes by car from the Farm.

Combine a visit to the beach with a visit to the castle on the headland - stunning views up the Towy estuary and out into the bay. Only 12 miles from the farm - easy to find with good car park on the edge of the beach. Lovely walks along the beach and around the headland (at low tide!) and a for the more energetic a walk to the castle. Dogs are permitted on one part of the beach throughout the year.
