Milton’s Park Road is famous among locals as one of the first European-style café precincts in Brisbane. The giant Eiffel tower replica is hard to miss and provides the perfect couple selfie spot without the European airfare. Hot Tip: La Dolce Vita below does a mean Nutella Italian hot chocolate.

Being a local favourite and a nationally recognized restaurant is not an easy task, but Deer Duck Bistro is doing both in style. The quirky space is fun and personality filled with a menu to match. We highly recommend the degustation which is ever-changing and always delicious.

Sightseeing

One of Brisbane’s best walks/runs/rides is along the Bicentennial Bikeway that meanders along the river from Toowong in the west into the Brisbane City. Damaged in the 2011 floods, this stunning trail has been restored and is better than ever for a stroll or to get your daily sweat on. Walking along the river to Brisbane CBD, riding a bike or taking a ferry to see Brisbane CBD by night.
