If you don't own a kayak or canoe, Swiss Hideaway is the place to go! They handle rentals for the Jordan River and we have used them several times!

About an hour and a half from the Lodge, but WELL WORTH the drive out for a day trip. Beautiful scenery and a must-see. Not for the faint of heart, some of the dunes are very steep. (Although there are a few easier slopes / walking trails!)

Torch Lake is breathtaking. In fact, National Geographic listed it as the third most beautiful lake in the world. Located about 20 minutes from the Lodge and you will not be disappointed in this marvel of nature.

Bojack's is a local delight! We love getting our donuts and muffins from them. They also do breakfast. Stop by for your sweet treats!

Iron Skillet does a lot - but my all-time favorite is their fried chicken. WOW. It is finger lickin' good. Highly recommend trying it out if you're a fried chicken fan.
