Food scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The food is absolutely delicious, the music is fun, and it is so much more than just ramen. Note: if you go during normal meal hours you will have to wait in a line outside the building! I would recommend going at a weird time (like 3pm) to avoid this.

What started as a food truck quickly turned into a brick and mortar store which shows you how good the food is! Everything is served on a donut and the sizes are pretty big so feel free to share! The restaurant is very cute and laid back.

Sightseeing
This hiking trail has beautiful views of the river and houses along it. There are quite a few steps to get to the top but once you’re up there there are many hiking trails to choose from and even picnic tables to eat at. It is normally very crowded on weekends so going during the week is the best idea.

Traffic
There is pretty rough traffic from 3:00pm-6:30pm anywhere near downtown Austin. Plan your day so you avoid the high times.
