Little 5 Points is a fun little neighborhood to check out and this is hands down the best place to eat while you’re there. Actually, this is my personal favorite restaurant in Atlanta.

This place has saved our lives many times. They have essentials (bread, milk, beer) as well as a grill. Pro-tip: If you can get your hands on it, they also make the best pimento cheese I - a native southerner - have ever eaten.

Close the door to the house and start walking. Murals start to the left, Carroll St is right down the alley to the right. Keep going down Wylie to get to Krog and just...keep walking. There’s a lot of beautiful houses, amazing art, and people watching pretty much any direction the day takes you.

Gorgeous reconstruction era houses, the zoo, the prettiest cemetery in the US, and a gigantic park in the middle of it. Plus you can walk to all of it from the house!

Getting around
Lyfts and Ubers are always plentiful so if you don’t have a car it won’t be a problem. If you’re going downtown or midtown Marta is absolutely the way to go. It’s easy and you don’t have to deal with bananas Atlanta traffic.

Never leave stuff in your car.
Don’t do it. Cabbagetown and surrounding neighborhoods are generally very safe, but Atlanta is notorious for car break ins. Don’t leave anything visible in your car.
