Foley’s Graham Creek Nature Preserve is almost 500 acres of natural habitats including pine savannas, bottomland wetlands, mixed forests and tidal marshes. It is located at 23460 Wolf Bay Drive to Stan Mahoney Lane. The Preserve offers a canoe/kayak launch, 5 mile hiking trail, 7.5 mile bicycling trail, 3 mile cross country trail, 9 basket disc golf course, picnic areas and bird watching. Trails cross multiple habitats where visitors can see rare carnivorous plants and wildflowers year round. The Preserve hosts the Earth Day Festival in April and the Creek Crawl Obstacle Race in October. Hours are dawn until dusk daily. The natural beauty of Foley’s Graham Creek Nature Preserve offers a variety of options not often found in an outdoor venue. Both the newly completed Interpretive Center and the open air pavilion provide shelter while still allowing the preserve’s 400-plus-acre surroundings to be a part of the ceremony. More options include a ceremony under the magnificent live oaks or, for a more intimate setting, at the canoe launch site directly on Graham Creek.
