国の重要文化財となっている和田家です。
村の中で一番大きく、古い家です。和田家の皆様がお住まいですが、入場料を払うと中を見学することができます。
バスターミナルからも近く、展望台から見下ろしてもすぐ見つけることができるお家です。

This is one of the biggest house in this village and Wada family still live in this house. But also you can visit inside.
You will find it easily from observation deck and it's very close to bus terminal.

山越-997 Ogimachi国の重要文化財となっている和田家です。
村の中で一番大きく、古い家です。和田家の皆様がお住まいですが、入場料を払うと中を見学することができます。
バスターミナルからも近く、展望台から見下ろしてもすぐ見つけることができるお家です。

荻町合掌造り集落
日本の原風景ともいうべき美しい景観をなすこの合掌造り集落が評価され、1976年に重要伝統的建造物群保存地区として選定され、さらに1995年には五箇山（富山県）と共に白川郷・五箇山の合掌造り集落として、ユネスコの世界遺産（文化遺産）に登録されました。

実はその昔、御母衣ダム建設によってダムの湖底に沈む運命にあった桜です。
毎年ゴールデンウイーク頃に開花します。

It takes about half hour from our house. If you come by car in blooming season, you must go there!

菅沼集落には9戸しかなく、規模は白川郷よりはるかに小さいですが、建物や文化が白川郷とはやや違うので比べてみるのもいいと思います。

There is no train, you need to take bus, car, or taxi .
It takes about 10 minutes from Bus terminal.
We recommend you come with a small bag.
If you come by car, please check your tires.
Local people usually use snow tires between November to May.
Costumbres y cultura
No smoking inside village.
These historic houses are made of wood.
You can not smoke inside village. But heated cigarettes are allowed.
If you only have lighted type of cigarettes, please smoke at smoking area at bus terminal or Seseragi car park. Only these two places are allowed to smoke.
We never use fire inside village.
Qué debes empacar
Not fancy shoes. Yes comfy shoes!
This village is quite small. But you still have to walk around to go sightseeing.
We recommend to wear comfortable shoes.
Facilidad para moverse por la casa
電車の駅がないので、バスやタクシーまたは自家用車で
バスターミナルから白川郷テラスまで歩いて約10分の距離です。地面は舗装されていますが天候によっては重いスーツケースでは大変ですので、小さいリュックを背負って来ることをお勧めしています。
11月から5月まで、地元の住民はスタッドレスタイヤを使用しています。春がやってきたと思っても、桜のあとに雪が積もることもございますのでご注意ください。

世界遺産の合掌造りの家は木でできています。
喫煙は決められた場所でのみお楽しみください。
バスターミナルとせせらぎ駐車場の2か所にに喫煙所がございます。
また、村の大通りにある3か所の喫煙所では加熱式タバコのみのご利用が認められていますのでご注意ください。
