Sister to Provisions in Arrowtown, this makes a great stop along the Frankton Walking/Cycling track for a meal or a coffee. You can take the track from town and wander down here for a great walk near the lake, it makes a great turn around spot, or you can follow the track all the way around to the edge of the lake clear out to Jacks Point. Very good for biking as well.

Really nice hiking trail leaving from Arrowtown center, wraps around the river at an easy stroll. Even a small swimming hole along the way if the weather is nice. Lovely to grab a coffee at Provisions first, then head off.

The Sherwood is fantastic for dinner, drinks, live shows, yoga, and coffees. It's just down the road (about a 10-15min walk), so makes for a perfect spot if you don't want to worry about driving home. They pride themselves on locally sourced and seasonal fare. They also are focused on sustainability. A really lovely spot to find yourselves.

It's just down the road (about a 10-15min walk), so makes for a perfect spot if you don't want to worry about driving home. They pride themselves on locally sourced and seasonal fare. They also are focused on sustainability. A really lovely spot to find yourselves.
Sightseeing
You can take the Earnslaw out to Walter Peak to enjoy a BBQ lunch or just tea and scones. There is also a lovely farm tour where you can feed deer, learn about how they farm sheep, and watch sheep dogs at work. The gardens are lovely and it's great to be out on the lake for a bit. The Earnslaw itself is a lovely boat to explore and enjoy.

Arrowtown is a historic mining town, great for a day trip as you can spend the whole day enjoying the sights and restaurants. There are lots of trails which leave from Arrowtown (a favourite of ours is Saw Pit Gulley track), you can explore the Chinese Village, and enjoy several restaurants such as Provisions (breakfast or lunch), Slow Cuts (lunch or casual dinner), Chop Shop (lunch), and La Rumbla (dinner).
