Across the road, through the Papamoa Mount Pony Club to the sand dunes and white sands of Papamoa Beach.
Turn left for Harrison’s Cut - a popular beach boat launching site at the mouth of a small creek.
Turn right for the Papamoa Surf Live Saving Club, and in the car park you’ll find Sandbank Cafe, a 1986 Bedford Van coffee truck, for the best brew on the beach.
The beach is dog-friendly with the usual polite etiquettes of course, and please observe the, NO DOG zone 200m from the Surf Life Saving Club.

Walk up to the summit ~ take your time, some of the inclines are quite 'breath-taking'!!
