Check their web page for events, sometimes they have River Jam and you can grab a drink and some food and just enjoy the music as people paddle by!

Personally one of my favorite places. The park is clean you don’t get service once in the park and it’s nice to unplug. The waterfall is beautiful and if you’ve never seen the Carolina boulders are amazing. If you don’t want to hike, just bring your lunch!
It’s an 1.5 hours from the house! A beautiful drive where you can pass a winery or stop at local farm stands.

Super cool raptor rehab center. A few years ago I rescued an injured hawk this place is one of the best hear by. It’s also located near Latta Plantation where you can go hiking, kayaking and boating as well as historical tours.
