If you've got a longer stay, we highly recommend a day trip to (very) nearby Lewes, the oldest town in Delaware and full of charm. Great antique shops and a few amazing restaurants including Heirloom and Roo. The main street is a stroll back in time.

You’ll have to drive to get there, but it’s only a few minutes away. My favorite grocery store for great produce, meat counter, and gourmet items. They also have a stellar deli counter with delicious salads and slaws.
