The Enfants Rouges covered market, created in 1615, hasn’t aged a bit! Paris’s oldest food market is situated at few 2 minutes of the appartment. Parisians and tourists like to buy lots of fresh products at these stalls full of colour and fragrance. I love the place for finger food and world food. The friendly atmosphere is ideal for a quick lunch at the Italian deli, the organic stand, the Lebanese caterer, the morrocan food, the famous "crêpes" or at the Japanese snack bar. On Sunday, brunch fans head to L’Estaminet, a restaurant tucked away in the heart of the market, or to La Petite Fabrique.

In the street, you can find the Maison Ladurée (in front of the appartment) and the Maison Pierre Hermé (few meters on the right), both very famous for their macarons. But my advice would go for a more typical bakery with high end and original pastries. You have to try the lemon cake there!

Close to the rue de Bretagne but not that obvious, it is for me a must seen for a quiete walk or a running.

If rue de Bretagne is know as "Le Haut Marais", you obviously have to visite the little street of the heart of Le Marais. You take the direction of La Seine from the apparment and it starts right away. From the park of Les archives nationales to the famous place des Vosges through the very busy rue des Franc-Bourgeois, you will enjoy all of it. If you like both walking and shoping, it is for you!

The square du temple -cross rue du Temple and rue de Bretagne is a little park is a bit underrated so mostyl known by neighbours. Still, it is a perfect place to sit for the lunch or do your yoga session.
