My favourite place to finish the day is with a walk around this gorgeous lake. On a beautiful evening you can't beat fish and chips by the water.
It is a pretty and fairly easy walk to the stunning Trentham Falls. One of the longest single drop waterfalls in Victoria it plunges some 32 metres over ancient basalt columns. It's particularly impressive in winter, when rain creates the strongest flow.
Surrounded by lush bushland, the moss-covered falls are located in the Coliban River Scenic Reserve, which protects original vegetation including manna gum, messmate, narrow-leaved peppermint and spring wildflowers.

Seriously the best place for freshly baked cakes and muffins to go with your morning coffee. They offer so much more than this and always with a smile but their baked good are by far my fav in Daylesford.

For that special night out, Frank and Connie's is a fav around the area. Serving sizes are small though and it is pricey, but the flavours are delicious.

Absolutely delicious and super fresh fish and chips. My fav is the flake and chips combo. Love enjoying these down by the lake on a beautiful night.
