A short stroll across Rosa Parks over to 4th Ave, takes about 12-15 minutes and we'll worth the effort. They have great chicken tenders, wings and the cheddar biscuits are to die for!

You cannot leave Nashville without a southern meal at Monell's bso don't even think about it!
It doesn't matter whether you choose to do breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or even midnight brunch - you have to go!
Not only is the food incredible but the atmosphere is family style and NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED AT THE DINNER TABLE so don't be rude! hahaha
Menu rotates and it's all you care to eat served fresh. Some of my all time favs are pot roast, lasagna and fried chicken and anything from there at breakfast can do do you no wrong!

This is the closest grocery store and easily walkable. I would venture to guess it's also the least expensive place to get groceries in the area. If you want a bit more selection and more organic options, I recommend Publix. It's also very close but a little far to walk.

This is my go-to grocery store. It's not as big as most Publix stores I've been in but they have a great selection, friendly staff and good prices.

Tell them I sent you for a 10% discount. This place has been in business for decades and you may think they aren't very friendly but I promise they are - their just always so damn busy!
Pick your poison and at check out, say "Steven and Mario from across the street said to ask you for my 10% discount please".
By the way, if you're just after a night cap or a quick drink before heading out, you're welcome to my liquor cabinet. Help yourself but be kind and replace anything you kill ;)

Electric Scooters
We have several companies you can rent e-scooters from and they aren't the kiddie kind. They are fast, well equipped and use advanced technology.
They aren't expensive either and I personally find them to be a blast. Just be careful! Pay attention to all the signs and don't drink and drive!
You can find these all around the apartment. For the best selection, head across Jefferson and Rosa Parks to the Bicentennial Mall or Farmer's Market.

Free Public Transit to Downtown
Hitch a ride at the bus stop on the other side of Jefferson Street for free transportation to Lower Broadway, Riverfront and the Gulch.
There's two different routes and the bus comes by about every 20-30 minutes. Don't be intimidated! I promise it's very safe, the drivers are very helpful and friendly.
I'm always surprised by how many people don't take advantage of this free service!
They have drop offs all along 5th avenue that will take you right to riverfront, lower Broadway or to The Gulch! Do it!
