Bergen Kunsthall is a contemporary art museum located right next to the lille lunggårdsvann. There is also Landmark bar right next door (as soon as you enter the building). FUN FACT: This building was designed by architect Ole Landmark who also designed the apartment building you are staying in!!!

Ulriken is the highest mountain in Bergen (643 m), and is very popular among hiking enthusiasts.
You can also jump on the cable car if you don’t want to do the walking.

The old stave church was built in Fortun in Sogn in 1170 and moved to Fantoft in 1883. Fantoft Stave Church has now been rebuilt as it was before the fire in 1992.

Nawabs serves excellent pakistani food. The restaurant is close to the Wergeland light rail stop (which is only two stops from the Kronstad stop where the apartment is). Highly recommended!

Kogi is a very tasty Korean bbq place in downtown Bergen. The price is a little on the high side, but you won’t regret going there! We love how the bbq happens on our own table! Highly recommended!

This is a must go to for any beer lovers! The bartenders are really knowledgable and they LOVE giving you various recommendations based on your liking. The space is nothing fancy at all, but who cares about that when the beer is dang good! 😅

Getting around in Bergen
Generally, the easiest way to get around in Bergen is to either take the Light Rail (Bybanen) or the local buss. You can use the same ticket on both (90 minutes), and I recommend buying tickets in the “Skyss Billett” app at least 2-3 min prior to using the transportation.
