It's about 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive down to Blue Mountain Lake and the Adirondack Experience Museum. We've been multiple times and love walking around the outdoor exhibits. A great place to learn about traditional Adirondack architecture and history. Fun for adults and kiddos. There are also lots of nice hikes in the area to make a full day out of it.
