Easy access to hiking and biking trails. Turning onto East Oaks is the way to access these trails. At the stop sign at the top either turn left and take the 1st right and it will take you to a parking lot for bike trail access or turn left at the top of East Oaks and it will take you to a very steep road to access hiking trails. It's ok to park on the road or you can drive up the steep road and there are a few parking spots available. For winter hiking, something like YAK tracks are invaluable
Fruit Loops Mountain Bike Park

An excellent outdoor local playground with a fun trail that runs through the bottom. Great for a walk on a warm day because it’s much cooler in the shade. Kids can dip their feet in the little stream that passes by.

A fun stop in the summer for any family. The water park has both typical water slides, as well as a "lazy river" and more "splash pad" type areas along with a super fun, old school mini golf. Great food for being at a waterpark.

This course is a local favorite because it caters to all skill levels...from beginner to pro level. The course offers great programs for younger age groups and hosts many adult golf associations and corporate-level tournaments.
Davis Park golf course is known locally as being one of the busiest courses in the state and on Wednesdays, Men's association days, the course will be filled from morning to evening. If you do get a tee time during their busy hours, expect SLOW play. Most golfer here are courteous and do keep up, but with the number of golfers the pro-shop sends out, there is usually nowhere to go. The course is not particularly long or difficult and is always very well groomed.

The movie theaters are top notch, there are many interesting shops, a playground for the kids, and often times some evening entertainment in the central area. We enjoy this location often. Sometimes we just go there for a walk and to enjoy the environment. This is a large, multi-street, outside retail venue (think H&M and Sephora) that is especially beautiful and quaint at night due to the white twinkle lights, large fireplaces, benches, and overhead music. Many places are open late in here. Be prepared to walk a bit if you are retail shopping, unless you can find parking along the streets in front of the stores. Be sure not to miss the outstanding restaurants and eateries located deep within the retail area. The more common eateries like Panda Express and Chick Fil-A are located across the parking lot near the very popular Nordstrom Rack and Home Goods.

An easy way to see the great Salt Lake, Antelope island is home to herds of Buffalo, a historic farm for touring and trails for hiking, as well as east access for dipping your feet in the lake.

This is an excellent ski resort for beginning to expert skiing or snowboarding. You can ride a tram up for sightseeing only if you like - year round. In the summer they have Mountain biking and you can also ride the tram up and take a 30 minute hike that allows you to see down into the valley. Roads are well maintained year round

Snowbasin Resort
3925 Snow Basin RdThis is an excellent ski resort for beginning to expert skiing or snowboarding. You can ride a tram up for sightseeing only if you like - year round. In the summer they have Mountain biking and you can also ride the tram up and take a 30 minute hike that allows you to see down into the valley. Roads are well maintained year round
Head up to Park City and then go south on Highway 40, and then down towards Provo, Orem. You can see them from your car or get out and take a stroll.

This Dinosaur Park is an exciting collection of creatures from prehistoric crawlers, to predators and even flying reptiles. More than hon hundred dinosaur sculptures fill the park. These realistic full-sized sculptures are based on actual fossils skeletons, and are brought to life by robotics, artistic details and state-of-the-art sound system. A museum provides hands-on experiences with fossil discovery and several full-size dinosaur skeletons.

A great value for a great meal. It’s all inclusive - the rolls are delicious, the seafood cocktail with shrimp and then the main course! Highly recommend trying some Buffalo but the steaks, fish and chicken are good too. If you go before 5 they have a special but don’t go Sunday or Monday because they are closed. It’s about a 35 minutes drive. They do reservations, call ahead, walk in and take out.
