One of our favorite local restaurants, Tequila Real serves as close to authentic Mexican food as you're going to find in the area. And their margaritas aren't bad either :)

Will you feel like you were transported to New Orleans? Maybe not, but Po' Boys' catfish po'boy is fresh and delicious. You'll find various seafood sandwiches and entrees on the menu along with a selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Don't leave without ordering the beignets!

At the heart of Broadkill Beach is the Broadklll Beach Store. Stop in for a chat with owners while you're picking up lunch, ice cream or some small essential you forgot to pack. You'll learn a lot about the area from the friendly staff. And don't forget to order your handmade donuts early so they're ready for pick up on Saturday or Sunday morning. We like to take ours to the beach with a cup of coffee early in the morning. It's a little slice of heaven - in the shape of a donut :)
