The shortest way to reach Capri is the ship fronm Sorrento; please inform you about timetables and fares on Caprinet site. If you go to Sorrento by car, the cheapest parkings are in Piazza Lauro . Then we’ll have to go down towards the sea to get your ship. You can use the bus to go down but above all to return up from Capri ! To reach Sorrento you can use also Circumvesuviana trains but rimember that last return train from Sorrento is at 21,50 and so you will not allowed to enjoy Sorrento by night.

To avoid traffic and high parking fares,from april to october you can reach all the beautiful places in Costiera Amalfitana by ship. The best thing to do is to leave your car in Foce Irno Parking in Salerno, at about 700 meters from the ship. To get ship timetable, you can see the site www.travelmar.it. After visiting Positano, you can move towards Amalfi by Sita bus and at the end you can return to Salerno by bus or with another ship. (Sita busses stop not far from Foce Irno Parking)
