Although I’m not into fast food, I love this place so it obviously should be considered on your trip if you’re looking for a quick bite… also, they have amazingly moist cake in a mason jar that I can not avoid.

Very cute. Indoor is fine but perfect for a outdoor patio weather kind of day. Great menu and they also have bottomless mimosas, which is key.

I’ve never been but the neighbors at the loft rave about it and I have not heard anything bad about this cozy, local favorite. Nothing fancy but also lacks nothing. I’d recommend. Also walking distance from the Lux Loft!

So delicious. Great food and some of the best soul, jazz, & R&B live music I’ve seen in town. Most nights there is a DJ too but Im always shocked to see such a diverse group of patrons dancing every time I’ve been!….and I do mean everyone of all races, huge age range, and all smiles. Super cool New Orleans type place where everyone seems to really enjoy themselves. Tell your bartender “Rye” that Jeremy sent you.

During the day, it’s quiet and it almost feels like you’re in Ireland…by night, the young crowd rolls in and all hell breaks loose…but in a good way though. I’d probably Uber. Enjoy!

I love the live performers here, they typically have some very talented guest. The drinks are great and the bartender, Richard is a hoot….they also give you popcorn while you drink, so that works.

Possibly my favorite bar in town. It has very dim lighting, It’s relaxed, the bartenders are amazing and they have a lot of plants which is refreshing but also trendy. It’s a very nostalgic . Sometimes it feels like you slipped out of Kentucky and into Soho, I love it. The patrons are typically artsy with good conversation.

It’s a little bit of a drive (30 minutes) but a wonderful experience. I suggest a guided tour and Madison is my favorite host. Beautiful venue with a wonderful selection. Photo ops!

Bowling, Movie theater, Sports bar all in one. Probably the best place to watch sports because of the multiple jumbo screens, beer selection and strong martinis. A family could easily entertain themselves here for hours. A date night has never had more options under one roof and a kid can be a kid (they literally have an arcade). It sits across the street from Rupp arena and near the UK campus so if the wildcats win, you’re already at the party and you’ve already paid for parking so you might as well enjoy moving around downtown on foot. That’s like 10 birds with one stone, so dress accordingly. GO WILDCATS!!!
