5. You will exit by the seaside. To the right is the beach Gabine and coffee shop/fast food
6. To the left you can walk along the promenade to get to many restaurants and bars.

The Krka National Park is an amazing place to visit. Just 45 minutes driving you will be in Skradin, from where you will embark onto a boat to get to the entrance of the National Park. I recommend the round-trip walk along the cascades.

Kaštela is a city with seven villages, each having its fortress (Kaštel). Located on the 18 km long Kaštela Bay protected by the Kozjak and Mosor mountains it has the perfect climate for olive and almond orchards, vineyards and fig trees. Built in the medieval times to defend against the invasion of the Turks. However the history of Kaštela dates back to the 7th century. Each village has its fortress, its square, park, harbor, old town with beautiful buildings many of them protected by UNESCO heritage, beach and restaurants/coffe shops.
Each village has something beautiful to see.

Located on the 18 km long Kaštela Bay protected by the Kozjak and Mosor mountains it has the perfect climate for olive and almond orchards, vineyards and fig trees. Built in the medieval times to defend against the invasion of the Turks. However the history of Kaštela dates back to the 7th century. Each village has its fortress, its square, park, harbor, old town with beautiful buildings many of them protected by UNESCO heritage, beach and restaurants/coffe shops.

Concerts, festivals, village parties, fish fries, outdoor theaters, dancing events, live music, brass band orchestras, Klapa signing (a hundreds of years old now UNESCO protected acapello singing of male or female singers), summer carnival, opera singing and the celebration of various saints.
All of these events are free-of-charge and many of the village festivals offer free food and wine.
This is the real way to immerse into the culture and mingle with the locals!
