Fountain Square is an up and coming neighborhood just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It is filled with a mix of historical and new modern builds. Many people flock here for the shops, nightlife, and vibrant arts scene. You can find a plethora of local artists - whether its watching a live concert, performance, or simply buying local goods. This guide will help highlight some of my favorites in the Fountain Square neighborhood specifically!

Fletcher Place is an adjacent neighborhood to Fountain Square - a mile away from the house and right before you enter Downtown. Here you will also find a lot of restaurants, bars, and nightlife.

While this is in the adjacent Fletcher Place neighborhood, had to mention them as they are constantly rated as one of the top chefs/restaurants in the city. The menu changes daily, but every dish is always amazing!

Fancy dining? Go here. It’s kind of like a hidden speakeasy restaurant. They are famous for beef Wellington and live jazz on the weekends. Make reservations or try to snag a seat at the bar!

Beer, food .. what more can you ask for? Personal fave is the artichoke dip, yum. Great place for casual hangouts. There is also a nice outdoor area to relax on those warmer days (also dog & kid friendly!)

Think Tiki bar + Mexican food. This place is your closest island getaway while in Indy. While unassuming from the front, you step into a mini little island. Head towards the back of the bar and you will find the cutest tiki bar + outdoor patio.

Walking, car, scooters, bikes, or bus.
It is quite easy to get to Fountain Square as it is connected by Indy's Cultural Trail. Going around the heart of Fountain Square can easily be walked. If coming by car, parking is not relatively too difficult as you can either find free street parking or parking lots. For alternative options, there are stations for renting bikes, scooters, or the Red Line bus stop.
