Absolute MUST for breakfast & lunch! The Mount Bakery also has a second location in Fairhaven, but the downtown one is my favorite. They have the most amazing Belgian waffles, omelettes, and the best cinnamon roll you'll ever have in your life (trust me).

This cozy and bustling coffee shop is located just steps away in Boulevard Park! Grab your morning coffee and a treat and walk along the Boardwalk to Fairhaven or take the Interurban Trail into Downtown Bellingham.

World class mountain biking within riding distance from our home! Over 65 miles of single track that winds through 3,000 acres overlooking the city and Bellingham Bay.
Two main points of access:
Southside: 4980 Samish Way in the parking lot (you can't miss it) directly across the street from Galbraith Lane road, or park at Lake Padden and ride to the trailhead.
Northside: 1206 Birch Street access point with street parking, or park at Whatcom Falls Park and ride to the entrance.

It is rated as difficult on AllTrails and best used from April-October. The view at the top is absolutely worth the effort!
Just under 4 mile trail that loops around Fragrance Lake. Rated as moderate on AllTrails, and is accessible all year round. Great hike that won't take up your entire day!
