Great for all ages. This park has won national awards and is a MUST see when you are in Tulsa no matter what time of year. It is 2 miles from the house (I recommend parking in the overflow lot near 33rd as it is closer to the house and the main lot further down is almost always full).
The park is free. Checkout it's website for a complete picture. The "room of things" is a fun stop at the ground floor of the boat house. If you like the decor of our house, you will like the lodge at the far end of park. Go bird watching at the pond. Bring your skateboard, basketball, a book, a picnic, sunscreen, a hat, walking shoes, and/or a blanket and plan to spend the day. There is usually a map of the park in the living room of our house.
They sometimes sell snacks and there is a small restaurant on site which is "sometimes" open. I recommend taking a picnic lunch (basket with blanket are in the hall closet you can borrow) or grabbing a bite somewhere in the Brookside area near the house before going.
Pets are not aloud in the park (ok on the Rivertrail outside the park).
Phase two of the park is a bridge which will extend to the opposite side of the river and is scheduled to be done in 2023.

BTW, Southern Hills (PGA 2022 site) is within 3 miles of the house —private club and beautiful grounds.
