Folly Beach has a fishing pier and several "beachy" restaurants. Interesting walkable town to investigate if time permits.

Go here for your South Carolina BBQ fix. I've only been there for lunch. It gets crowded with locals. This is very casual. Buffet, foam plates and cups, plastic forks, plastic table cloths.
