Tahoe Donner heavier snow than other place.
Please keep in mind that once you get on northwoods blvd, the amount of snow on the roads change completely. it can be dry downtown and covered in snow in Tahoe Donner. Chains and or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended and sometimes required during heavy storms.
