We like this NY style pizza because it's fresh and made in the brick oven. But if you're looking for something closer, Barro's is great and within walking distance! We've linked them as well.

Great park with pond, walking paths, large playground for toddlers and older kids, sports parks and skatepark. This is our favorite park and only a few minutes driving distance from property.

Highly recommend attending a game, especially if the roof is open on a nice night. Lots of good eats in this area as well!

Great place to walk around, see a movie, grab a bite, etc. There is a splash pad for kids, boutique shopping, mini bowling alley and lots of food/drinks!

Newly constructed (2020) and just a short 10 minute drive from the house, this is a great casino to check out. Lots of slots and tables, we haven't been yet but hear great things about their onsite steakhouse (called Nineteen 86)

Casino Desert Diamond West Valley
9431 W Northern AveNewly constructed (2020) and just a short 10 minute drive from the house, this is a great casino to check out. Lots of slots and tables, we haven't been yet but hear great things about their onsite steakhouse (called Nineteen 86)
If you're looking for desert landscape, this is worth checking out! Lots of trails, my favorite is the waterfall trail, and if you're lucky you might catch the waterfall running. Also worth checking out the visitor center for live reptiles :)

My favorite hiking spot, mixed terrain and various trails. My favorite trail is Arrowhead Loop (2.3 miles), I would consider it a moderate trail with some incline. The mountain can get a little congested on the weekend, so a weekday hike is preferred :)

The best water park in the valley (in our opinion), we take our kids here often but it's also a lot of fun for adults.

An amazing zoo; lots of interactive opportunities (including feeding giraffes, walking through the kangaroo exhibit, feeding tropical birds, and petting sting rays), large aquarium (great for summer) and lots of rides. There's so much to do at this zoo, and there's a Dillions BBQ on site with seating next to the aquarium, sometimes we just go there to eat with the sharks.

Our favorite little neighborhood park, about 5-10 minute walk from the house, it has a small playground, basketball court and a large grass field. Perfect place to let the kids run lose or enjoy a little park picnic.

Shopping, movie theater, and great dining. We love Yama (Japanese/sushi), Pita Jungle (mediterranean), and Grimaldi's. There's a small outside area for kids to play across from a cute cookie/ice cream shop :)
