A beautiful spot but timing has to be right. Go at falling or low tide and definitely advise an early start as parking can be tricky. Get in the queue for food early!
You can go on the King Harry Ferry or have a longer drive round (kids love the ferry!) Then head to Portscatho.

Highly recommend for a good Sunday roast. Quick service and all round lovely pub.

Porthtowan beach is a great spot, there is a park too, fab ice cream at Moomaid and also good food at the Blue Bar. Also a fab place for a sunset with a beer on the beach.
