I don’t really “recommend” this place. It’s just so close you may end up here for the kids or drinks!(Extremely casual) From the condo, you can walk down the beach to lunch/dinner. Sit outside! This restaurant is designed for wet bathing suits and sandy feet. (Shoes required) Menu is basic. I like the wings and the fried pickles!

A quiet little park on the intracoastal waterway. Good for fishing or just getting out in to nature. It's tucked away and somewhat small but you would miss it if you didn't know it was there! I like to get food from the nearby Public Super Market and have a picnic.

Head down the road and you dead end in to the old Fort Caswell. There is a guard on duty at the entrance. You are allowed to drive through (as long as you don't get out of your car) and look at the old forts. It is truly fascinating. There was never an actual battle here but SO MUCH HISTORY remains. Fort Caswell currently operates as a Christian, coastal retreat and conference center.
