This Boston-exclusive bakery is a must try when you are in town! Stop by for coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. If you go early enough you might be able to try their Boston Cream Pie - it's my favorite.

Established in 1848, the PBL was the first large free municipal library in the United States, and the first public library to lend books. The architecture is historic, beautiful, and free to enter. Make sure you stop by the BPL Courtyard as well, it is particularly nice on a sunny day.
