Magere Brug, also known as the ‘Skinny Bridge’ is a beautiful old lifting bridge which crosses the river Amstel, and is just a 10 minute stroll away.
At night it is illuminated by hundreds of small lights and is probably the most beautiful and romantic bridge in Amsterdam, though there are many, many others !
