You can hire boats, kayaks and paddle boards from this beach. Parking is limited and would definitely reserve a table is you plan to eat here.

Approximately 10 minute drive - The lake is noted for its wildlife and beautiful walks, there is a circular walk of about two miles (stout footwear is recommended) which passes through woods and meadows. The Wild Vibes café offers good quality coffee, hot and cold drinks and home-made cakes.
Approximately 10 minutes drive - In addition to the Activity Centre at Stithians there is also a circular walk around the lake which is just under 5 miles long. There is also a cycleway along the northern shore and public footpaths may be accessed from the western shore for longer walks.

Open from 9.30am to 5pm, Sunday - Friday each week from 1st April until 31st October. The island will only be accessible to guests with valid castle, garden or combi tickets from 1st April until 30th September. The island and castle will be open on selected dates and times from 1st November until 31st March.
