Ballintoy Harbour

Stroll along the board walk by the river and along the old railway track. You can then either take the longer cliff walk past Runkerry House or the short cut through the gated field up towards the Causeway visitors Centre. The walks at the Giants Causeway are free so you only need to pay if you want to park close by and enter the visitors centre.
There’s an upper cliff path with great views or the popular lower path which takes you close up to the world famous rock formations.

Stroll along the board walk by the river and along the old railway track. The walks at the Giants Causeway are free so you only need to pay if you want to park close by and enter the visitors centre.

This is a favourite, lesser known place of ours to go where you see the waterfall plummet directly into the sea.

If you just want to walk at a beach the views at Whitepark Bay beach are breathtaking. This beach has sandy and pebbly areas and even the odd cow! Due to strong water currents, this beach is not suitable for swimming but fine for a paddle in the shallows. If you go when the tide is further out, make your way towards Ballintoy Harbour for great photos of unusual rock formations including Elephant Rock.
