The Victoria Recreation Corridor is a rail trail that stretches from Lindsay, Ontario to Kinmount Ontario. It is 55 km in length and is managed by the County of Victoria. Victoria Rail Trail opens year round to the public for recreational uses including walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
The trip from Fenelon Falls south to Lindsay is 22 km's long and follows Sturgeon Lake. It's just a quick 10 km into the community of Cameron. From Cameron the trail travel towards Ken Reid Conservation Area. There are hiking and mountain biking trails through the park. As well there is a marsh boardwalk, beach area and prime Osprey viewing. The area is also equipped with picnic tables and shelters.
Beyond Ken Reid it's only 8 km's into Lindsay at William Street North. Lindsay has many things to offer including the Victoria County Museum, the Academy Theatre as well as full shopping and dining facilities.

Long Beach Road

A little over 10min drive from us, Garnet Graham Beach Park has a small sand/stone beach and benches facing the water. Connected on either end to the Victoria Rail Trail, the park spans several kilometres of Cameron Lake coast.
Continue down Oak Street to find Maryboro Lodge: The Fenelon Museum, The Fenelon Falls, and the Trent-Severn Waterway.
In the summer, Washrooms and food stands are available. The parking lot is located directly in front of the shore, at the base of Bond Street.

Garnet Graham Beach Park

Lock 34 is one of the busiest locks on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Enjoy the view of the locks and boat traffic from the Island Park between Lock 34 and the dam off Colborne St.

Found on the shore of Sturgeon Lake, Sturgeon Point Beach is a grassy spot on the water, equipped with a regular dock as well as a jumping dock. Stugeon lake is a 27 km, fresh water lake, connected on either side to Cameron lake and Pigeon Lake.
Please be advised that there are no washrooms at this beach.
