One of our top rated activities in Portland is rafting on the Rio Grande. This is a relaxing two to three hour ride on a bamboo raft, down the scenic Rio Grande river. One raft can carry up to two adults and one small child. There are optional add-ons (mentioned below) that would extend this activity to around 4 hours. Optional Add-ons: Belinda's Riverside Restaurant* - halfway down the river is a famous pop-up restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Jamaican dishes and have a refreshing swim. Secret Waterfall - for an additional cost, you may also stop along the river for a 10-15 minute hike to a hidden waterfall. Your raft captain will be the one to guide you to this beautiful spot. *Belinda is not always on the river. If you wish to have lunch with her, we must know at least 24 hours in advance, so we may contact her and make the necessary arrangements.

If you don't mind a bit of a wait, Woody's is a must-go! Our favourites are his jerk burgers, callaloo burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The burgers are a bit small though, so you might need to order two. Local Tips: - Call ahead to order for a large group. - Love spicy food? Ask for a side of the jerk seasoning, mix it into your ketchup, then dip those fries! Yum!
