Here you'll find hidden gems like downtown historic lewes, several bay beaches, Cape Henlopen State park with one of our favorite locals beaches : the Naval Jetty and favorite trail: Gordon's Pond Trail. You can enjoy a day trip on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, borrow bikes for free at Cape Henlopen State park and ride the trails... visit the visitor center... And so much more! Lewes is a best kept secret... shhhhhh!

45 minutes to an hour drive away, this is a BIG ocean boardwalk. Wilder crowds, more diverse food options (and crowd), a big mixed bag of nuts! You can have a great time here, late night fun, lots to do and explore but expect BIG crowds in summer.

This bar and restaurant has it all. There is a great playground for the kids, ice cream shop, corn hole and water front dining. The food is average but the atmosphere is worth the visit bonus if you catch it with live music on their big outdoor stage.
