The original starting point of the city. With a china town style market. For fresh foods and garments and all the rest you can think of. Close to the river Ping. With access to the public transportation system with the " songthaew" , the mini busses in different colors for every direction. Close to Nawarath bridge. At the other side of the road you will find the famous Chiang Mai " Night bazar". On the other side of the river there are some very good restaurants, with a wide range of foods and drinks, usually with live music.
