Dirleton Castle is a medieval fortress located in the centre of the village of Dirleton. Dirleton is approx. 2 miles west of North Berwick, and around 14 miles east of New Winton.
The oldest parts of the castle date to the 13th century, and it was abandoned by the end of the 17th century.
Well worth a visit!
