It is a little more expensive than other museums but it is really neat. In addition to all the sharks and fish they also have a tiger exhibit. Able to pet a sting ray and sometimes jellyfish at the end.

Beautiful place to take a long walk, usually will see lots of different birds, ducks and turtles. The Lakewood Heritage Center area is connected by the paths as well as small unique playground that is a bunch of boulders to climb on. Also close to Belmar Library.

Really cute downtown. Right in the edge of the downtown is a beautiful walk that follows the River. In the summer you will see lots of people inter tubing down the river.

Huge shopping mall. If its a rainy day this is nice place to walk around with kids. There is a carousel and small train that our kids love as well as a play space.

If you want to take a quick trip up to the mountains this is only 40 minutes away. Beau Jo's Pizza is a Colorado classic. Also there is a place called Buffalo Overlook on the way to Idaho Springs off i-70 were you can pull off and see roaming buffalo (no promises though... they aren't always out)
