Best deal is to eat in the bar. Music at night. I find the dining room noisy. My biggest recommendation about the resort is the surprising and spectacular gardens in the back. Not to be missed.

Drinks & Nightlife
Ax and Fiddle. This is the best place for music in the evenings. The adjoining Backstage Bakery is nice in the mornings, too. Try the salmon chowder and a cherry cider.

This and Dorena Lakes are very beautiful and just out of town. If you like historical cemeteries--and who doesn't--try to spot the Sears Cemetery on the right on your way to the lake.

Here's the Row River Trail. My favorite part is reached from the end of Davisson Road. Spot loves to go here. See if you can spot a beaver or a freshwater otter in the preserve. Ask me for directions.
