Sightseeing
This is really about finding Sage Hen Creek trail. Not sure if its actually the "road". Its north on 89 on the East ish side of the road and is an easy hike to the NW corner of Prosser Reservoir. Online search will narrow it down for you.

Public docks for lounging. Some parking is tight along the side of the road and DO NOT allow your car to A) fall into the lake and B) stick out on the bike lane.
You can also pay for the day on the West End of the lake with a beach, grills, tennis courts and jungle gym.

Too many things to list here. Driving around the lake is stunning! Traffic can be annoying at times. Many spots to stop, walk, hike, swim and eat.

This is our neighborhood nature! Walk 8-15min from our front door wither East on Heather road until it ends or East Alder. You can make a loop to each of these entry points. Use a maps app as there are some dirt roads to walk to actually get to the clearing for the reservoir and views. Eagles, Ospreys, other large birds. The occasional bear and coyotes.

Paved from downtown truckee off East River St to Glenshire. Along the river. Start either end (views from Glenshire are awesome) but the Glenshire side has a fairly steep descent after a nice overlook early on.

Drive defensively.
Town has gotten quite busy and many folks don't quite know the flow. Keep you eyes open for bikes, scooters, animals. Snow driving can be surprising at times especially if you do not have dedicated snow tires. AWD/4WD without snow tires is a false sense of security!
Also, locals can get a little annoyed at times so don't take it personally if you get beeped at while trying to figure out what to do at an intersection or roundabout.
