Park your car opposite the castle and walk with the stream on your left up to Swanbourne Lake. It's a lovely walk that can be extended to a circular walk around the lake. The cafe serves light bites and tea and cakes.

We are very lucky to have this theatre almost on the doorstep as it attracts excellent actors and great productions.
There is a massive, reasonably cheap car park in the grounds.
Chichester town centre wih lots of places to enjoy a pre-theatre menu is a short 5 minute walk.

This large market has antiques on a Thursday, 2nd hand goods and produce on Saturday and a range of things to buy both old and new on a Sunday.
Get up early for a stroll and risk coming back with something you absolutely don't need but it's fun to haggle. 🤣
