Very quiet and clean beach with a few waves for the beginner surfer in you, early morning sunrise and coffee walk, for shell gathering and the occasional Sea Turtle nesting sighting! Easy beach access with parking lot leading straight to steps/boardwalk and the sand. Limited parking so get there early, or drive just north or south and you will find beach entrance after beach entrance.

We love this place for the live music and truly authentic Irish vibe, although still have not eaten here so cannot recommend the food but it does look amazing when it gets delivered to other tables. It has been a staple of the Downtown Melbourne scene for over 20 years. It seems to be busy often and best to arrive a little early for a seat any time there is an Irish Band playing on stage.

White tablecloth dining. Best service and some of the best food we have had period. Our recommendation is dine in and make reservations!

In the same parking lot, earlier in the day, you can rent Kite Boards and Windsurfing equipment.

We know how popular Starbucks is, and they are under a mile from the home but if you are looking to try a local coffee company while visiting, we highly recommend Foxtail. They have indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and a cool vibe. Sitting just minutes from Melbourne Beach and Downtown Melbourne and 5 miles from The Coastal Turtle.

There are so many unique sitting areas, so check inside and out and choose the one that suits you! On the backside there is a water fountain and sitting area for the shopping center.

The margaritas are good, the street tacos are great, and the regular tacos are twice the size of Taco Bell at the same cost! You can get fresh table side guac or a wide variety of great Mexican dishes. There are several locations in the area but this one is less than 5 miles from The Coastal Turtle.
