Small tiki bar located behind Ernest Coffee off Palm Canyon. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Bootlegger is small and frequented by locals and tourists, there is a wait sometimes but it's worth it and usually takes no more than 5-10 min for 2 people.

This is an iconic stop in Palm Springs either for drinks in their piano lounge or full dinner in their dining room. It will give you all the Sinatra feels. Admittedly, I haven't been since it underwent a remodel so if you check it out you will have to let me know how it was!

You have a few options depending on your mood when visiting Mr. Lyon's. They have a formal dining room (white table cloths, large booths) where you can make reservation ahead of time. If you are feeling more casual, they have a bar lounge area that is first come first serve. We prefer to keep it casual and sit in the bar lounge. Pro tip: they serve the full menu in the bar lounge, as well as the lounge menu.

They rent this house out as a vaction rental, private parties and private tours but you can drive by it for free! With eight buildings on the property, which sits at the base of Tamarisk Country Club, we expected nothing less. The main house, where Sinatra lived between 1954 and 1995, is said to be nearly 8,000 square feet. Guest quarters chime in at 4,500 square feet. Trains big and small — a fascination of Sinatra’s — appear in and outside of the main house. An orange railway car at the side of the main house — a rectangular Mecca inside — includes a waiting room, barber salon, and sauna. 62 The number of celebrity portraits commissioned by Sinatra that still hang on the walls. Among them: Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ronald Reagan, Eva Gabor, & Jayne Mansfield

Dean Martin's House The Lowdown: Martin was said to be one of the last to have purchased a midcentury modern jewel from the father-and-son architecture pioneers George and Robert Alexander, who died with other family members in a plane crash in 1965. Martin purchased the house for $56,000 and luxuriated there with his second wife, Jeanne, in the ’60s and ’70s. (She is still sighted here on occasion.) The tan-and-white motif, coupled with several lush palms and boulders, add to the stellar and memorable modern design.

Large, quirky yard with sculpture & light displays combining sci-fi & holiday themes. Totally worth seeing even if you just walk around the parameter and you don't do the walking tour. It is only open to the public during certain times of the year (Christmas). Christmas is when it is fully lit and truly at it's full potential. Still totally worth the drive by anytime of the year though! If you are headed to Palm Springs on Hwy 60 this is a GREAT little fruit stand and general store. I buy a lot of my produce, nuts, trail mix, oats, and dry goods (oatmeal, flax) here because the prices are so reasonible even for the organic options. Plus it just feels right supporting a family owned business that has been roadside in Beaumont for 60+ years. http://dowlingfruitorchard.webstarts.com/

If you are headed into Palm Springs on Hwy 10 Hadleys Flagship store is worth the visit. You can visit Hadley's and the Cabazon Dinosaurs in one go. Hadley's is another roadside institution offering dried fruits, nuts, wine, honey, vitamins, trail mix and gift items, fresh fruit, home-baked bread, sandwiches and healthy pizzas. They seem to be well known for their date shakes although I have not tried one yet. If you fall in love with a product there and you miss it after your visit, they offer online ordering. https://www.hadleyfruitorchards.com/

Thick As Thieves was started by Jeremy Smick and Samantha Caltagirone, a husband and wife team who packed up everything they owned and moved from the Midwest to beautiful Palm Springs, California to open their first brick and mortar boutique store in early 2017. With a little budget and a lot of creativity, the duo created a highly curated shop of handmade goods, gifts, clothing, oddities and unique finds that blend industrial, primitive, modern and global styles. In December 2019, their store was named 1 of 50 Best Home Stores in America by House Beautiful Magazine. They’ve also been honored to be included in Goop’s Travel Guide as Best Shops in Palm Springs, California.
