Val-David is a small village of more than 5,200 inhabitants in the Laurentian Mountains about 80 km north of Montreal, Qc, Canada.
Near Highway 15 and Route 117, Val-David peacefully overlooks the rivière du Nord stretching through. Encircled by mountains and forest and by its regional park, the village opens on "A WORLD APART". A place where one can breathe deeply and take advantage of a rich range of cultural and outdoor activities, accommodation, and good tables.
Val-David is the cradle of rock climbing in Québec, and also a great place for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. It is also the bastion of famous artists and craftsmen. As the seasons go by, artists, nature lovers, and sportspeople seduced by the arts meet. In the middle of Le P’tit Train du Nord linear park, cyclists and cross-country skiers find in Val-David a privileged stopover.

Val-David

They pay particular attention to fresh and local products, both in our dishes and in our desserts. We love the fact that they operate in the form of a tasting menu only to provide a complete experience. The wine list is made up entirely of independent winegrowers. The beers, as well as all the alcohols they use in cocktails are made in Quebec.

P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park, it’s a bike trail, a multi-use pathway, a unique 234 km cycling trail in the Laurentians.
The Parc runs through the Rivière du Nord valley. It originally was a railway line operated by Canadian Pacific Railway which operated it at a continuous financial loss since its construction in the 1890s. During the 1990s, it was dismantled to make way for a recreational multi-use trail
