Broulee island is home to a rare pocket of littoral rainforest. Excellent spots for fishing and a great surf break at Pinks Point. From vantage points on the island, you can spot migrating whales.

Mogo Zoo has had success in breeding programs for endangered species, including the snow leopard, cotton-top tamarin, black-and-white ruffed lemur, red panda, and Sumatran tiger. The zoo has Australia's largest collection of primates. It is one of only two zoos in Australia that exhibits white lions (the other being the National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra). Unlike most small Australian zoos, Mogo Wildlife Park focuses on exotic species.
