This is one of our favourite places to go for lunch. The food is cheap and very high quality Sicilian fare - choose between starters, pasta courses, fish or meat courses and dessert. The fiendly staff will give you the best suggestions, in between their regular joking around. The best thing is when you’ve had all this great food, you leave the place with only the smallest dent in your wallet.

So... there’s this strange thing in Palermo that before a place becomes a bar, a few years earlier it might even be a grocery store - that’s the case here. It’s a Sri Lankan grocery store that has become a local hangout over the last year or two. A large beer is £1:30 and this certainly lubrificates the social interaction!

Getting Around
Since the flat is so central we tend to walk everywhere, but if you want to get to, say, Mondello, or anywhere outside the city centre, via liberta’ is 100m away and is full of bus stops etc.
