If you want good pizza or pasta you can go to Vapiano. It's only a 5 minutes walk from home. Beware: not the greatest atmosphere in here but the food is very good value.

This is our sushi "place to go". They have mixed plates for two or more people which you might want to try if you can't decide. Miso-Duck is really good, too.

We suppose you know Starbucks. However, this one is not very nice to sit in so if you want to visit a nice café go to one of the other places :)

Aachen theater has some good productions (German only!). We go regularly so if you think about going to a play let us know. We might have seen it already.

One thing Aachen is famous for is the Dom (and its treasure chamber). We honestly don't think the treasure chamber is worth the fee but find out yourself. Let us know how you liked it!

Aachen is quite famous for its University, especially for mechanical engineering. Even thoug this is not a campus university, the main building, Kármán Auditorium and Audimax are all pretty close.

Really nice swimming pool in Art Nouveau style. We'd even say it is worth a visit as a sightseeing object! Look for pics on the net to see if it is something for you! Not for sporty swimmers though…
